Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about ducts, dryer vents, pricing and scheduling.

Questions we hear most

Do my ducts actually need cleaning?

Not always. The EPA suggests cleaning when you can see excessive dust or debris, signs of pests, or substantial mold growth. We look first and tell you what we find.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Gardena and nearby South Bay communities, including Torrance, Carson, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Redondo Beach, Compton and Lomita. See the full list on our service areas page.

Will I get a price before you start?

Yes. We explain what we found and what the work will cost before we start.

Do you work on commercial buildings?

Yes. We clean offices, shops and other commercial spaces and can plan around your hours.

How do I book?

Call (310) 340-2398 or send the request form. Tell us your city and what you have noticed.

How long does air duct cleaning take?

It depends on the size of the home, the number of vents and how much buildup there is. We will give you a time estimate with your quote.

Do you clean both supply and return ducts?

Yes. Return ducts often hold the most dust and pet hair, so we include them.

Will duct cleaning fix my allergies?

We do not promise that. The EPA says duct cleaning has not been shown to prevent health problems. What we can do is remove the buildup you can see.

How often should a dryer vent be cleaned?

Once a year is a common guideline. Long runs, roof vents and busy households may need it sooner.

Can you clean a roof vent?

Yes, roof dryer vents are part of the service. They are hard to reach yourself and their openings can collect lint.

My dryer is still slow after cleaning. What now?

The vent may be crushed or badly routed, or the dryer itself may need service. We will tell you what we find.

Will you tell me if I do not need cleaning?

Yes. That is the reason for an inspection.

Can you test whether something is mold?

We can show you what we see, but we do not identify mold by looking at it. If you suspect mold, the EPA advises having a sample tested before making decisions.
